| sandcity organises World Championship of Sandsculptures 2008 in Germany |
This summer, the elite of international sandsculptors will meet in Leipzig / Halle.
Under the motto „ Fairytales and Myths of the World“, 8 inter-national teams from Europe, Asia, the Americas and Australia compete for the title.
Each team of 2 artists will create its imagination of the theme using 40 t of sand in an area of 8 x 8 m.
Additionally, the sandcity-team will build up a „master piece“ out of 500 t of sand with a height of 8 m. |
